Travel Accessories for Your Dog

If you have ever travelled with your dog, you quickly realize how planning ahead and having the right accessories can really help make the process much smoother. When I traveled with my dog across the country, there were a few key items I brought and a few items I wish I would have had!

1. Collapsible Food and Water Bowl

There are a lot of different varieties out there, but it was nice that I could pack down her bowls and store them away during long driving portions of the trip. I didn’t want something that took up too much room but would still function well as bowls.

2. Collapsible Cage

This came in handy when we visited my cousin’s house to stay over night while we split the trip up. We could easily pack it in our vehicle and set up is a breeze. I suggest bringing an extra towel or a small dog bed for them to sleep on while in the cage.

3. Eno ReLeash

Did you know that Eno has a dog leash for sale!? It has a very similar look to their straps they sell for hammocking, and it is convenient because the leash has the ability to buckle on the end and tie your dog down to a nearby pole or the leg of your chair while you eat or are out and about with just a simple click of a buckle. Since we were on the go so much, my dog came with me to meals, which meant I needed her to be close by.

4. OllyBottle

This is one of my personal favorites! This is a water bottle with a built in dog bowl. This is very convenient during long walks and when we were headed to eat. It not only stores a good amount of water, but the removable dog bowl comes in handy for quick meals.

Some dogs do travel better than others, but if you come prepared, you can spend time together creating great memories with your trusty companion!

Happy adventuring!
